A truly unique summer experience!

Looking for a fun outdoor experience? Do you love lavender?  Interested in the distillation of essential oil?  Do you want an up-close look at what it takes to be a lavender farmer?

Come join us for a close and personal experience.  Meet us in our blooming fields of lavender and get a first-hand look at what goes into the process of growing, harvesting, and distilling lavender. 

This hands-on experience will have you working alongside the real lavender farm owners.  You’ll walk away with a unique understanding of what it takes to be a lavender farmer and an essential oil distiller.

Whether you are a lavender lover, an essential oil guru, a family looking for a deeper connection, or a curious traveler; this unique lavender experience will create lasting memories.

The Lavender Harvest Experience Includes:

Start the day with a meet and greet with the farmer and fellow “lavender experiencers”.

Next, spend time getting your hands dirty while learning how to harvest lavender like a pro.

Once enough lavender has been harvested we head up to the still where you get to partake in all aspects of the distillation process.

During the distillation, you will have time to ask questions, take notes, learn more about the farm and the lavender history of the Sequim Dungeness Valley, check out the rest of the farm and shop our gift store.

When distillation is complete, you will bottle and take home your very own lavender essential oil made from lavender that you harvested and distilled yourself.

The experience is from 12 pm-2:30 pm

*Please note that we do require a minimum of 5 participants to run en experience. We will contact you 2 weeks before your experience to give you an update on if the class is a go. 

The weather on the farm varies from hour to hour.  We suggest you dress in layers and bring a rain jacket.   We will have cut-resistant gloves available, feel free to bring your own if you have them. 

Keep in mind that this is a working farm and you will be handling sharp tools and working with hot equipment.  We do ask if you bring a child, that they remain with you at all times.  If you are not sure if this is appropriate for your group, please give us a call.
